Can I Watch Bake Off Online in Australia?

Bake Off’s Back Again!

Yes its that time of year when things start cooling down topside and start to heat up on the downside (& no I am not talking about the cakes). Bake Off is back on the screens again with Paul & Mary keeping things very quintessentially British in the kitchen.

EVENTS IN AUSTRALIA

With the southern winter coming to an end it will soon be festival time once again. Many British backpackers have heard of the various ‘Field Day’ events around the country at the festive season and love to attend. One great British run website that will list all events in the coming months in Australia 9particualrly those with British DJs) is BBM live. BBM started off many years back as British Balls magazine and over the years has fast become a must have for all of those traveling around Australia wanting to know whats happening party wise.

Aussie Accent? Just a Bunch of Pissed up Brits…

UNIQUE AUSTRALIAN ACCENT? NO THEY’RE JUST PISSED…

Some public speaking expert at the University of Victoria has now suggested that the Australian accent first came about not only due to a mixture of Brits, Irish & Aboriginals living together in the heat, but mostly due to be drunk all of the time. Its fair to say that there was plenty of ‘grog’ in Sydney Cove during the early days and so who knows there could be some truth to the matter.

Only two thirds of linguistic muscles in the mouth are used by the average Aussie apparently, says alot, or rather not. 🙂

If you ever pine for hearing more Pommy accents using 100% of those linguistic muscles then get a Pommy TV account and start watching all of those UK TV channels like BBC One from back home in Australia. Click Here to join.
